Qualifications:
- Education: The Associate or Full Professor in Artificial Intelligence will have a PhD in computer science, artificial intelligence, library/information studies, or a closely related field, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching.
- Experience:
- Associate Professor: At least 5 years of academic experience with evidence of a focused scholarly agenda.
- Full Professor: At least 9 years of academic experience and an established reputation in AI research.
- Research Expertise:
- A record of impactful research in areas such as AI in education, ethics in AI, AI literacy, and AI-driven tools for learning and information systems.
- Contributions to topics including designing AI-integrated spaces, AI-enhanced curricula, and evaluating AI-based platforms and technologies.
- Teaching Excellence: Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, supported by evidence such as course evaluations, syllabi, teaching awards, or peer reviews.
- Mentorship: Experience advising and mentoring graduate students at the Master’s and Doctoral levels.
- Funding Potential: A record of securing or potential to secure extramural funding for AI research initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Research:
- The Associate or Full Professor in Artificial Intelligence will establish and maintain an active research agenda in AI, with a focus on applications, societal impacts, and ethical considerations.

- Pursue and secure external funding to support research activities.
- Teaching:
