Electrical Lineman Admissions Representative – Sample Job Description

As an Electrical Lineman Admissions Representative, the school focuses on equipping students with the essential skills and knowledge required for successful careers in electrical line work, ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in the industry.

Excelon AssociatesĀ is seeking a dynamic and motivated Electrical Lineman Admissions Representative to join our clients team. This individual will play a key role in recruiting and enrolling prospective students into the Electrical Lineman program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical trade, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Recruitment:
    • Identify and recruit prospective students for the Electrical Lineman program.
    • Conduct outreach activities, including school visits, career fairs, and community events.
    • Provide prospective students with detailed information about the program, curriculum, career opportunities, and admission requirements.
  • Admissions Counseling:
    • Guide prospective students through the electrical lineman admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
    • Assist students with completing application forms and gathering necessary documentation.
    • Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability and interest in the program.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and industry partners.
    • Serve as a liaison between the trade school and the local community to promote the Electrical Lineman program.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the school to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and follow-up activities.
    • Track and report on recruitment and enrollment metrics to the admissions team.
    • Utilize CRM systems to manage student information and communications.


  • Education:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associateā€™s or bachelorā€™s degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in electrical lineman admissions, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
    • Knowledge of the electrical trade and/or experience working in the skilled trades is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • A passion for education and helping students achieve their career goals.
