Our client, a leading education investment group headquartered in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join as Deputy CEO. The organization specializes in investing in and managing a portfolio of high-performing schools and education networks globally. The Deputy CEO will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision, operational excellence, and financial growth of the group, while ensuring the highest standards of academic quality and innovation across its investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the organization’s long-term strategic vision.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in education groups and school networks that align with the organization’s mission.
- Drive initiatives to expand the organization’s footprint, both regionally and globally, in the education sector.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the performance of existing investments, ensuring operational efficiency and academic excellence across the portfolio.
- Implement best practices in governance, compliance, and financial management across all partner schools and education groups.
- Work closely with leadership teams within the portfolio to support growth strategies and operational improvements.
Academic Excellence:
- Ensure academic innovation and high-quality learning outcomes are consistently delivered across all investments.
- Foster collaboration among schools in the portfolio to share knowledge, resources, and best practices.
- Champion the integration of modern educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
Financial Growth:
- Collaborate with the finance team to monitor the financial performance of investments and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.
- Lead business development initiatives to attract new investors and partners.
- Support fundraising efforts, including pitching to potential investors and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, school operators, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at regional and global events, positioning it as a leader in the education investment space.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the board of directors, providing insights on market trends and strategic opportunities.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including academic, operational, and financial units, to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Advanced degree in business administration, education, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
Experience:
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in education management, investment, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of investments or large-scale education projects.
- Strong understanding of academic operations, financial management, and market trends in education.
