Registrar

The Registrar is responsible for managing student records and requirements. Key duties include student file management, attendance and grades oversight, ensuring compliance within student files, and ordering books. This role sits at the operational core of academic administration, ensuring that student data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Records and Enrollment Administration

  • Manage and maintain student files with accuracy and compliance
  • Oversee attendance and grades within the Nexus System
  • Maintain student data in Nexus and manage timely updates to student statuses
  • Conduct degree audits for student graduation eligibility
  • Conduct transcript audits for transferability
  • Enroll students into the system and register students for courses
  • Manage student Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Create, manage, and deactivate terms as needed
  • Create and publish student schedules
  • Order books and uniforms one month prior to class start dates

Professional Development

  • Complete and maintain an Individual Development Plan and Summary as required
  • Attend regularly scheduled in-services and discipline-specific professional development activities
  • Complete annual appraisal with the Campus Director

Education, Experience, and Skills

Education and Experience Minimum High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred. Minimum one year of experience in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; expertise in interpersonal and oral and written communication

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
