Key Responsibilities:
The Director of IT Services leads the management of all IT operations, including network systems and infrastructure, cybersecurity and data protection, enterprise applications and system integrations, help desk support and customer service, as well as instructional and classroom technology. This role requires close collaboration with academic and administrative stakeholders to identify technology needs, develop and implement innovative solutions, and ensure seamless integration across departments. Additionally, the Director evaluates emerging technologies to position the university as a leader in digital transformation within higher education. By fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT team, the Director sets departmental goals, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. A critical responsibility of the role is overseeing the security and integrity of the university’s data and systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability in support of the institution’s mission.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
- 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in IT management, preferably within higher education.
Skills:
