The Registrar is responsible for managing student records and requirements. Key duties include student file management, attendance and grades oversight, ensuring compliance within student files, and ordering books.
Essential Responsibilities:
Instruction and Curriculum
- Registrar will manage student files.
- Oversee attendance and grades within the Nexus System.
- Maintain student data in Nexus.
- Manage and timely update student statuses.
- Conduct degree audits for student graduation.
- Conduct transcript audits for transferability.
- Enroll students into the system.
- Manage student SAP.
- Create, manage, and deactivate terms.
- Create and publish student schedules.
- Register students for courses.
- Order books and uniforms one month prior to class start.
Development
- Registrar will complete and maintain an Individual Development Plan/Summary if necessary.
- Attend regularly scheduled in-services and discipline-specific professional development activities.
- Complete annual appraisal with the Campus Director.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- For the Registrar position must possess minimum of a High School Diploma; Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Expertise in interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
Work Environment % of Travel Required
- Less than 10%.

- Works in a normal office environment.
Physical Demands
- May be required to lift up to 10 lbs on an infrequent basis.
