Excelon Associates is partnering with an institution to recruit a CPD Facilitator responsible for the delivery, facilitation, and learner support of Continuing Professional Development programs. This role focuses on high-quality, engaging, practice-based learning for professionals, executives, and organizations, ensuring an excellent participant experience and strong learning outcomes. The CPD Facilitator will support the delivery of short courses, workshops, bootcamps, micro-credentials, and bespoke employer programs, working collaboratively with academic colleagues, program leads, and industry partners.

The successful candidate will bring energy, adaptability, and subject-matter credibility to every session, working across a range of CPD formats and learner groups in a fast-paced, employer-connected hub setting.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Facilitation and Delivery

  • Facilitate high-quality CPD sessions using in-person, blended, and online delivery formats appropriate to each program and learner group.
  • Deliver learner-centered, interactive, and practice-based sessions aligned with program learning outcomes.
  • Support guest speakers, academics, and industry experts in effective CPD delivery and session integration.
  • Adapt facilitation approaches to suit diverse professional learner groups and organizational contexts across the region.

Learner Experience and Support

  • Act as a key point of contact for CPD participants during program delivery, ensuring a positive and productive experience.
  • Support learner engagement, participation, and progression throughout CPD activities and programs.
  • Provide guidance and constructive feedback in line with program requirements and learning standards.
  • Foster a professional, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all participants.

Program Support and Quality Assurance

  • Support program leads with learning materials, session planning, and delivery schedules.
  • Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of CPD provision through feedback collection and reflective practice.
  • Ensure program delivery aligns with quality assurance processes and relevant professional standards.

Employer and Industry Engagement

  • Engage professionally with employer clients, sponsors, and external partners during program delivery.
  • Support bespoke and in-company CPD programs, responding flexibly to employer needs and organizational contexts.
  • Represent the institution positively in all external interactions with partners and stakeholders.

Digital and Learning Technologies

  • Use digital platforms and learning technologies effectively to support CPD delivery and learner engagement.
  • Facilitate virtual learning sessions using approved tools and platforms to a high standard.
  • Support learners in navigating online and blended learning environments, troubleshooting where needed.

General and Professional Responsibilities

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain facilitation skills and subject expertise.
  • Support CPD-related recruitment, marketing, or showcase activities where required.
  • Work in accordance with organizational policies including equality, diversity, and inclusion; data protection; and health and safety.
  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the level and scope of the role.

Education, Experience, and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
Education — Desirable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification or professional certification related to CPD, training, or education.
  • Teaching, training, or facilitation qualification such as a PGCert, Train-the-Trainer accreditation, or coaching certification.
Knowledge and Experience — Essential

Required Experience

  • Experience facilitating training, workshops, or professional learning for adult learners.
  • Experience delivering learner-centered, interactive sessions in professional or organizational contexts.
  • Experience working with professionals or industry-based learners.
  • Understanding of inclusive learning practices for diverse professional audiences.
Knowledge and Experience — Desirable

Preferred Experience

  • Experience delivering CPD, executive education, or employer-funded programs.
  • Experience facilitating online or blended learning using digital platforms.
  • Experience working within higher education or professional education environments.
