Key Responsibilities

Placement and Employer Outreach

• Work to place students in the field for which they are trained.
• Conduct market outreach along with job and internship development.
• Develop and maintain employer and community contacts.
• Manage and update the job bank database.

Career Development Programming

• Provide career development opportunities for students on an ongoing basis.
• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance a Life Skills program as part of the curriculum.
• Prepare students for and conduct exit interviews and portfolio reviews.
• Actively participate in on-campus events, programs, and promotions, and assist with coordination of the annual graduation ceremony.

Records and Reporting

• Prepare student files and ensure completion of all necessary documentation.
• Maintain an accurate database of student and graduate files, and proactively follow up with and track all graduates.
• Assist with preparation of annual reports as required by regulatory agencies.
• Support the Career Services Director in achieving required placement statistics.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in counseling, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Prior related experience in the staffing industry or a related industry.

Skills and Availability

• Bilingual communication skills, as called for in this posting, to serve students, families, and employers.
• Persuasive communication skills with an orientation toward results.
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business objectives.
