Who Thrives as a Professional Education & Partnerships Manager
This role rewards a consultative seller. The strongest candidates have sold or managed professional and executive education, CPD, or corporate training, and they open doors with senior executives, HR and talent leaders, and decision-makers because they talk workforce outcomes rather than course catalogs.
It is also a translator's seat. People who do well here move fluently between employers describing skills gaps and academic teams designing short courses, micro-credentials, and stackable pathways, keeping quality, compliance, and commercial viability in the same frame.
Finally, the hub runs on ownership. The best fit works independently across time zones with UK-based Finance, Registry, Quality Assurance, and academic teams, tracks their own pipeline and KPIs honestly, and represents UEL with polish at conferences, executive briefings, and corporate meetings across the region.
