Who Thrives as an Admissions Associate

The strongest candidates are fluent in Spanish and English, bring real cultural competency with Hispanic and Latino communities, and can explain programs, costs, and enrollment expectations clearly, honestly, and with patience. Comfort being the first friendly point of contact for a family navigating college for the first time matters as much as any technical skill.
It is also a goal-driven, performance-based seat. People who do well here work a CRM with discipline, follow up consistently across calls, texts, and email, track where inquiries come from, and keep enrollment moving toward monthly targets. They see conversion and graduation outcomes as the measure of a job done well, alongside minimizing student debt and encouraging student investment.
Finally, this is a community-facing role. The best fit is willing to get out into target communities, build referral relationships with local organizations, represent the institution at visits and presentations, and generate leads directly when institutional lead flow needs support, all while holding to ethical recruitment and accurate program representation.
