Vice President of Education – Remote Opportunity

Our client, a leading institution in higher education, is seeking a Vice President of Education to lead retention strategies, academic technology initiatives, and curriculum innovation. This remote position requires a data-driven, forward-thinking leader with a strong understanding of student retention, educational technology, curriculum management, and accreditation compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retention Management: Develop, monitor, and implement strategies to improve student retention outcomes, ensuring alignment with institutional goals. Must have experience managing retention budgets and successfully achieving or exceeding budgetary targets.
  • Education Technology: Leverage LMS platforms, particularly Canvas, and other EdTech tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices to ensure the institution remains competitive and compliant.
  • Curriculum Management: Ensure curriculum remains dynamic, innovative, and relevant to today’s learners by implementing modern content delivery strategies.
  • Accreditation Compliance: Maintain accreditation standards, with a preference for experience in ACCSC accreditation and knowledge of programmatic benchmarks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in student retention management and budget oversight.
  • Strong background in Canvas LMS and other educational technology platforms.
  • Deep understanding of higher education trends, regulations, and evolving student needs.
  • Experience with curriculum development and modern content delivery methodologies.
  • Prior experience working with accreditation bodies, with ACCSC accreditation preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed; must be located near a major U.S. airport for accessibility.
