Regional Program Director, Allied Health – Remote Opportunity
A nonprofit healthcare educational institution is seeking a Regional Program Director to oversee the operation of assigned allied health programs and campuses. This role involves ensuring high-quality student outcomes, including retention and placement rates that meet or exceed accreditation standards. The Regional Program Director will play a critical role in strategy development, curriculum improvement, staffing, and professional development to support the organizations mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine staffing needs and assist in hiring program team members.
- Onboard and train new faculty, ensuring alignment with program standards and techniques.
- Manage performance and development for program instructors and staff, including creating professional development plans.
- Teach classes, provide make-up sessions, or serve as a substitute instructor as needed.
- Collaborate with campus Directors of Education to create teaching schedules and ensure courses have updated syllabi and materials.
- Supervise faculty and staff, oversee the planning and inventory of program facilities, and conduct departmental meetings.
- Advise students and faculty to maintain program success and high student satisfaction.
- Lead retention efforts to meet or exceed accreditation standards.
- Facilitate and participate in Advisory Board and Curriculum Review Committee meetings for program improvement.
- Prepare students for certification examinations.
- Procure and manage clinical/externship sites where applicable, ensuring compliance, documentation, and competency requirements are met.
- Collaborate with campus Directors of Education on faculty meetings and other programmatic initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
- Associates degree.
- Current Medical Assisting certification.
- 3+ years of experience in medical assisting and billing.
- At least 1 year of direct patient care experience.
- Prior teaching experience.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to support a diverse, inclusive work environment.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business tools like Teams.
Compliance
The role requires adherence to federal, state, and accreditation regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. The Director must communicate compliance requirements to staff and escalate concerns to the compliance department as needed.
Work Environment
This is a full-time hybrid position requiring frequent travel to campus locations. A quiet home office setup, high-speed internet, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed are essential.
