Excelon Associates is seeking a dynamic and motivated Electrical Lineman Admissions Representative to join our clients team. This individual will play a key role in recruiting and enrolling prospective students into the Electrical Lineman program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical trade, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Recruitment:
    • Identify and recruit prospective students for the Electrical Lineman program.
    • Conduct outreach activities, including school visits, career fairs, and community events.
    • Provide prospective students with detailed information about the program, curriculum, career opportunities, and admission requirements.
  • Admissions Counseling:
    • Guide prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
    • Assist students with completing application forms and gathering necessary documentation.
    • Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability and interest in the program.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and industry partners.
    • Serve as a liaison between the trade school and the local community to promote the Electrical Lineman program.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the school to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and follow-up activities.
    • Track and report on recruitment and enrollment metrics to the admissions team.
    • Utilize CRM systems to manage student information and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associateā€™s or bachelorā€™s degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
    • Knowledge of the electrical trade and/or experience working in the skilled trades is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • A passion for education and helping students achieve their career goals.
