As a Director of Nursing Education, you will have an excellent opportunity to contribute to the next generation of nurses by leading a team that is responsible for developing content for the NCLEX® question banks (Qbanks).

Minimum Experience Required
- 15+ years of work experience as a BSN registered nurse and in a leadership role, exhibiting the ability to manage a team successfully while maintaining personal business-related goals.
Minimum Education Required
- Master of Science in Nursing Education from an accredited nursing school
- Ph.D. or CNE preferred
Location
- This position is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas
Minimum Skills Required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, superior nursing knowledge, and passion for training future nurses
- Prior experience writing NCLEX-style questions
- Prior experience working in an academic institution preferred
- Ability to think strategically and analytically and execute conceptual ideas into a finished product
- Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively
Job Duties
- Create systems and structures within the department to maximize productivity
- Research and develop strategies to guide department goals and structures
- Reviews and revises content written by other team members, including other content developers, with a focus on accuracy, precision, readability, and educational value
- Lead and contribute to the creation of original high-yield images in collaboration with other content team members
- Provides and receives feedback with tact and diplomacy
- Develops workshops and training that help build content knowledge and capacity
Leadership, People Management, and Professional Development
- Hire, train, develop and create a positive work environment that stimulates intellectual growth and creativity and fosters a strong team environment
- Drive the strategy of the Nursing department by defining the direction and goals of the team
- Provide leadership and inspiration to nurture a highly engaged team
- Coach, train, and develop new team members; create/revise training guides
- Foster collaboration with team members to identify and resolve obstacles
- Build a strong rapport and partnership with content teams to execute priorities
- Pursue opportunities for personal growth and development through meetings, educational programs, and professional development
- Collaborate with direct reports to ensure they have a personal/professional growth and development plan to enhance knowledge, competencies, and professional practice
