This crucial position is dedicated to enhancing the career development pathways and employment opportunities for students, graduates, and alumni through strategic oversight, development, and administration of comprehensive career services.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: The Director will be responsible for the planning, development, and administration of extensive career assistance programs tailored to the needs of students, graduates, and alumni.
  • Industry Collaboration: Establishing and nurturing effective relationships with industry constituents and partners to secure employment opportunities is a key duty.
  • Strategic Initiatives: The role involves creating and implementing innovative strategies to support graduating students in their career aspirations.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensuring the department’s adherence to government, accreditation, and regulatory standards is a critical function.
  • Operational Leadership: The Director will oversee the operational aspects of the Career Services office, including the planning, organization, and supervision of activities.
  • Team Management: This includes supervisory responsibilities such as assigning work, appraising performance, coaching employees, and resolving workplace issues.
  • Reporting: The Director is expected to compile and submit regular reports as mandated.
  • Problem Resolution: Identifying challenges, formulating solutions, and coordinating with the necessary personnel for implementation falls under this role.
  • Travel Requirements: The position may require occasional travel as part of its duties.

Supervisory Duties:
