Director of Admissions (Confidential) – Dallas, TX 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Admissions for our clients well-established school located in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire admissions process, ensuring efficient and effective student enrollment, and upholding the high standards of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic admissions plans and targets in alignment with the school’s objectives.
  • Oversee the admissions team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Foster relationships with potential students through community outreach, school visits, and participation in educational fairs.
  • Manage the application and enrollment processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for applicants.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the school and its programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, educational standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze and report on admissions data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with financial aid and academic departments to ensure student needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in admissions or student services within a post-secondary education setting. Experience in a trade school environment is a plus.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Solid understanding of marketing and promotional strategies for student recruitment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of admissions software and student information systems.
