Dean of Nursing – Salt Lake City, UT
Our client is seeking an experienced Dean of Nursing to lead and oversee the nursing programs at their campus. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive program excellence, enhance faculty effectiveness, and improve student outcomes within a supportive academic environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, academic management expertise, and a commitment to student success across practical nursing (PN) and associate degree nursing (ADN) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, support, and develop faculty and clinical staffing to ensure quality education and program growth.
- Improve student performance and NCLEX pass rates through effective curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and targeted student support initiatives.
- Oversee student populations across PN and ADN programs, ensuring rigorous academic standards and successful program outcomes.
- Lead and manage nursing faculty, fostering academic excellence and clinical competence.
- Collaborate closely with institutional leadership and admissions teams to support and enhance the student experience.
- Ensure nursing programs meet or exceed accreditation, regulatory, and institutional standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in instructional quality, curriculum development, and student engagement.
- Maximize the use of simulation labs, advanced technology, and modern instructional facilities to enrich nursing education.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Current, unrestricted nursing license.
- Minimum of five years of progressive nursing education leadership experience; proprietary school experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of academic operations, faculty development, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, quantitative reasoning, and proficiency in using technology and data for decision-making.
- Proven record of building and leading high-performing teams to drive excellence in nursing education.
